Tammy Koll has been named the October 2025 Classified Staff Employee of the Month at the College of Southern Nevada. Koll serves as an Administrative Assistant II in the Math Department and was nominated by Willene Wadkins.
Wadkins praised Koll’s commitment to supporting both students and staff, stating, “Tammy is amazingly positive, helpful and truly cares that students are served to the best of her abilities. Part of helping the students, Tammy strives to make sure all of her department faculty and staff are well taken care of so they can assist students to their fullest abilities. Support is what Tammy does best – always with a smile, a hug when needed or a needed dose of reality all done with heart and kindness. Tammy knows American Sign Language and is able to assist DHH students with care and understanding. Tammy is a great planner, organizer with a flair for making a dull office suite look warm and welcoming while maintaining its professional appearance.”
The Classified Employee of the Month Award at CSN recognizes outstanding classified employees who demonstrate exceptional performance. Recipients receive $200, a certificate, a designated parking spot, and recognition on plaques at all three campuses.
To be eligible for nomination, employees must have worked at CSN for at least one year and not have received the award within the past 36 months. Nominations for November 2025 are currently being accepted; forms should be submitted to Classified Council Chair-Elect Chayvon Reeves by the 10th of each month. Nominees who are not selected remain under consideration for two additional months.
