The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Athletics department will host the Coyote Golf Classic on Monday, November 17 at Reflection Bay Golf Club. The event aims to raise funds for scholarships and programs that support CSN student-athletes.
Registration for the tournament begins at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 9 a.m. The format is a gross scramble with an automatic two-putt rule, designed to make play faster and more accessible.
According to organizers, proceeds from the tournament will go toward scholarships and initiatives that benefit CSN athletes both academically and athletically. "Every swing, slice, and sand save supports CSN student-athletes. Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships and programs that help Coyotes succeed in the classroom and in competition. Translation: Your birdie putt might just help buy textbooks."
Corporate foursome packages are available for $2,000, which include course signage, breakfast, lunch, access to practice facilities, as well as branded apparel such as hats, shirts, jackets, and golf balls.
"Each foursome gets signage on the course, breakfast, lunch, practice facility access, plus golf swag — hats, shirts, jackets, and balls. Basically, you’ll leave looking like you could join the PGA Tour (minus the paycheck)."
Sponsorship opportunities are also open for those who wish to support without playing. Options range from $500 contest sponsorships to a $20,000 Title Sponsorship. There is also an option to sponsor amenities such as the Bloody Mary Bar for $4,000.
"Not into playing but still want to back the pack? Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 contests like 'Longest Drive' to the $20,000 Title Sponsorship. You can even sponsor the Bloody Mary Bar for $4,000. That’s right — your company’s name could be forever tied to keeping golfers hydrated and happy."
The event will feature contests and prizes throughout the day along with an awards lunch following play. Participation is limited to 144 players.
