The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has introduced a new online tool, the Nevada Registration Spotter report form, which allows residents to report vehicles operating on state roads with expired, invalid, or missing registration. The form also targets Nevada residents who use illegal out-of-state plates.
Compliance Enforcement Division (CED) Chief J.D. Decker said, “I think this report form is so beneficial in so many ways. We get so many calls, inquiries, and complaints daily about civilians noticing unregistered vehicles on the roads and what can be done about it and now we finally have a solution.”
Reports submitted through the form will be reviewed by the CED and shared with other local law enforcement agencies for further action.
“Nevada is one of the first states to really have this form come to fruition and now civilians can help others by ensuring all motorists stay safe on our roads,” Decker added.
More information about the Nevada Registration Spotter is available on the DMV website.
