Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company will stage the musical "Fiddler on the Roof" in November. The production tells the story of Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his wife Golde as they navigate family and tradition in a changing world in a small village in Czarist Russia.
WNMTC Producer and Director Stephanie Arrigotti, who is also a Professor of Music at Western Nevada College, said, “Each of these extraordinary performers brings remarkable depth and humor to this beautiful work, creating a touching, humorous, and, at times, deeply powerful emotional journey through their village of Anatevka.”
The musical features well-known songs including "If I Were A Rich Man," "Sunrise," "Sunset," "Matchmaker," and "Tradition."
Western Nevada College President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe commented, “The Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company continues to bring exceptional productions to our region, and Fiddler on the Roof is no exception. WNMTC enriches our community with world-class performances.”
The show will run on weekends from November 7 to November 23 at the Carson City Community Center. Tickets are available at WNMTC.com.
