The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) will hold its 14th Annual Short Film Showcase on November 7, 2025, at the North Las Vegas campus in the Morse Arberry Jr. Building, Room 1772. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the event begins at 6:30 p.m.
Each year, students from CSN’s videography and film program create original short films as part of their coursework. The showcase features a variety of genres including drama and documentary.
This year’s event includes a screening by Hisonni Johnson, an Emmy Award-winning CSN alumnus. Johnson will present his latest work titled "Legend Has It: The Remarkable Rise of Stephen McCain." According to the press release, "Johnson, who once sat in the same classrooms as today’s filmmakers, has since been hustling to make a standout career in film and television."
CSN's film program has received over 141 regional Emmy nominations and secured 68 wins since its inception.
Admission is free and open to all members of the public. For further details about the event, interested parties can contact Sean Collett at sean.collett@csn.edu.
