Western Nevada College will host a resumé-building workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at The Link. The event aims to help attendees improve their resumés and enhance their job prospects.
The workshop will offer guidance on creating clear and professional resumés, strategies for highlighting skills and achievements, and information about modern resumé formats that appeal to employers. Participants will also receive personalized feedback to improve their resumés. The session is open to students, recent graduates, and professionals considering a career change.
Beverly Marshall, a life coach and motivational speaker, will provide assistance and advice during the event. Organizers encourage attendees to bring a draft of their current resumé or start a new one at the session.
