The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) has announced the launch of a new television series, "Nevada Wild," set to premiere on Animal Planet on November 4. The show is produced by Engel Entertainment, known for its work on "Lone Star Law" and "North Woods Law."

"Nevada Wild" will provide viewers with an inside look at the various roles within NDOW. The first season consists of ten episodes featuring activities such as bighorn sheep captures, moose collaring, game warden water rescues, and biologists monitoring bat populations in caves.

Alan Jenne, Director of the Nevada Department of Wildlife, commented on the upcoming series: “To have this amazing opportunity to tell our story on a national stage is very exciting. We can’t wait for everyone else to discover what we already know, that this agency is made up of incredible, passionate people who make a difference in preserving and protecting all things wild in this great state.”

The show aims to highlight both the staff and wildlife that are part of Nevada’s natural environment.
