Spring marks the start of registration for TMCC EPIC’s (Educational Programs Inspiring the Community) summer courses, offering a diverse array of classes available until September. The Summer 2025 Course Guide is now accessible, and online registration is open round-the-clock.
EPIC’s summer program covers various subjects, including Arts & Crafts, Dance & Performing Arts, Fitness & Sports, Food & Beverage, Health, and more. Noteworthy courses include “Backyard Beekeeping” led by Ray Hopper, where participants can explore honey production, pollination, and equipment necessary for beekeeping. In “For Any Occasion,” students can delve into relief printmaking for creating unique greeting cards.
Family-friendly options are available as well, with classes like “Fun for the Whole Family,” featuring activities such as Hand-Sewn Sock Monkeys and Showtime Dance. Outdoor enthusiasts can enroll in “The Great Outdoors,” with opportunities like Fishing for Beginners and Wilderness Survival Training.
Culinary classes offer diverse options such as “Wrap It Up, Asian Style,” which teaches Asian finger food preparation, and courses exploring international beers like “Brewed in Japan” and “The Art of German Beers.”
For students over 60, the “EPIC Encore” program includes fitness and cultural activities such as Encore Mobility & Fitness and Chinese Mahjong.
Spanish language learners can benefit from courses with Spanish language support, including “Bachata Basics – En español” and “Hablando Juntos: Comprendiendo el Uso de Sustancias y Apoyando a Nuestra Comunidad.”
