In a move reflecting its commitment to enhancing community resilience, United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) has announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors. Jilian Monet Lopez and Shane Rogers are set to join the board, bringing extensive experience in community engagement and financial services, respectively, to the organization.

Jilian Monet Lopez, who serves as Assistant Vice President of Community Engagement for HCA Healthcare – Far West Division, has over 11 years of experience in the sector. Her work includes overseeing strategic partnerships and workforce development. Lopez has led impactful initiatives such as Las Vegas’ Biggest Diaper Drive that benefited Baby’s Bounty, resulting in the collection of over 70,000 diapers. Additionally, she helped organize HCA Healthcare’s “mini hospital” storefront at Junior Achievement’s BizTown, aimed at promoting healthcare careers to over 20,000 students and their families from the local school district. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northwestern University.

Shane Rogers is the Managing Director – Nevada at U.S. Bank and has a strong background in wealth management and private banking. His professional experience includes leading efforts to foster strategic growth, as well as handling complex project management initiatives. Rogers also holds a leadership role as Chairman of the Nevada Wildlife Commission, highlighting his dedication to conservation efforts and community service.
