Beginning July 18

• Upon reopening on July 18, University Way will be permanently reconfigured to a one-way northbound street over I-80 (between Maple and West 8th Street).
• The one-way configuration will more effectively accommodate increased traffic associated with university expansion in the area.
• Drivers are advised to anticipate new traffic patterns and to travel safely in the area.

RAMP CLOSURES FOR REPAVING
Intermittent overnight I-80 Virginia Street ramp closures July 10-Aug.1

• Drivers can also anticipate periodic overnight closures of Maple Street and the I-80 eastbound on-ramp from University Way (Center Street), as well as the I-80 westbound on and off-ramp to Virginia/Sierra Street from July 10-Aug.1 between 9 p.m.-5 a.m.
• I-80 will remain open and drivers will still be able to travel I-80 in the area.
• Nearby detours will be available during overnight ramp closures.

NDOT is removing the aging ramp surfaces and repaving all four I-80 ramps to Virginia Street/downtown Reno, as well as resurfacing University Way over I-80 for a smoother, safer driving surface.
