Vickie Densford has been named the January 2026 Classified Staff Employee of the Month at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Densford serves as Administrative Assistant III for Centers For Academic Success on the North campus.

According to the announcement, “Vicki is very knowledgeable and assists the other administrative assistants when problems arise. She is cooperative and knows her job very well.” The statement continues, “She has been a role model for our newly hired Administrative Assistant. She goes above and beyond to help her achieve the department goals. She takes her time to help others with any questions that arise daily.”

The Classified Employee of the Month Award at CSN aims to recognize exceptional classified employees who distinguish themselves among their peers. Recipients receive $200, a certificate, a designated parking spot, and are recognized on a plaque displayed at all three campuses.

To be eligible for nomination, employees must have worked at CSN in a classified position for at least one year and not have received the award within the past 36 months. Nominations for February 2026 are now being accepted; forms should be submitted to Classified Council Chair-Elect Chayvon Reeves by email or interoffice mail by the 10th of each month. Employees who are nominated but not selected will remain under consideration for two additional months.
