The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures and restrictions on Interstate 15 (I-15) and SR-610/Lamb Blvd in North Las Vegas and Clark County. The traffic control measures are necessary for paving and striping operations.
From 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14 to 5:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15:
- The Lamb Blvd on-ramp to northbound I-15 will be closed.
- The southbound I-15 off-ramp to Lamb Blvd will be closed.
- North Lamb Blvd will be reduced to one lane between Smiley Rd and Nexus Blvd.
From 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16:
- Northbound and southbound Lamb Blvd will be reduced to one lane between Smiley Rd and Nexus Wy.
- The Lamb Blvd off-ramp from southbound and northbound left turn lanes will be closed.
From 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 to 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17:
- Northbound and southbound Lamb Blvd will again be reduced to one lane from Smiley Rd to Nexus Wy.
- The Lamb Blvd off-ramp from southbound and northbound left turn lanes will remain closed.
This project involves repairing damaged concrete, milling the road surface, and applying an open-graded surface on the ramps at I-15. It also includes milling the surface, applying an open-graded surface, and reconstructing sections of SR-610/Lamb Blvd. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2024.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling through work zones and consider alternate detour routes if possible.
