Lane restrictions announced for final phase of I -515 /Charleston Project

With the I-515 (U.S. 95)/Charleston project nearing substantial completion this summer, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is announcing upcoming lane restrictions and ramp closures within the project footprint.

From 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, July 22:

- East and westbound Charleston Blvd will be reduced to one lane between Sacramento Dr and Honolulu St.

- Southbound I-515/U.S. 95 will be reduced to one lane from Pecos Rd to Eastern Ave.

- The southbound I-515/U.S. 95 off-ramp to Charleston Blvd will be closed.

From 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 22 to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 23:

- Southbound I-515/U.S. 95 will be reduced to one lane from Pecos Rd to Stewart Ave.

- East and westbound Charleston Blvd will be reduced to one lane at the I-515/U.S. 95 interchange.

From 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24:

- Southbound I-515/U.S. 95 will be reduced to one lane from Pecos Rd to Charleston Blvd.

- East and westbound Charleston Blvd will be reduced to one lane at the I-515/U.S. 95 interchange.

From 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25:

- East and westbound Charleston Blvd will be reduced to one lane at the I-515/U.S. 95 interchange.

From 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25 to 5:00 a.m. Friday, July 26:

- East and westbound Charleston Blvd will be reduced to one lane at the I-515/U.S. 95 interchange.

These restrictions are necessary for work related to the final phase of the I-515/Charleston project, which broke ground in August 2022 and is slated for substantial completion in July.

Drivers are encouraged to visit www.i515charleston.com for the latest project updates and detailed bilingual information about traffic restrictions.

Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones and take alternate detour routes if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions; however, schedules are subject to change due to weather or other factors.
