Agencies release findings from Lake Tahoe beach water sampling

The Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board (Lahontan Water Board) and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) collected water samples on July 8 and July 10 at two Lake Tahoe beaches, El Dorado Beach in California and Nevada Beach in Nevada. Settlement reached over alleged deceptive marketing by Johnson & Johnson

Carson City, NV — Attorney General Aaron Ford announced today that he and 42 other attorneys general have reached a $700 million nationwide settlement to resolve allegations related to the marketing of Johnson & Johnson’s baby powder and body powder products containing talc. As part of this settlement, pending judicial approval, Nevada will receive $6,131,236.22.


Govenor Lombardo and the OSIT create the Nevada Middle Mile Network

Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, in collaboration with the Nevada Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation and Technology (OSIT), has announced the establishment of a 2,500-mile open-access, fiber optic network.
