The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) has introduced a new system to streamline communication between its marketing and communications team and the broader college community. The initiative aims to facilitate the process of sharing achievements and events within the college.

The marketing & communications team, comprising five members, serves a community of 4,000 individuals. Recognizing past difficulties in managing this volume, they request that those seeking assistance provide a couple of weeks' notice.

Over the summer, the team developed a new form available at www.csn.edu/marcomrequest. This form is designed to address various needs:

- **CSN Newsroom Story**: For reporting significant achievements such as groundbreaking research or awards.

- **Blog/Calendar Access**: For promoting upcoming events.

- **Commodity Approval**: For approval of promotional items before requisition.

- **Design Assistance**: For help with designing materials such as flyers, logos, banners, and reports.

- **ICS Submission**: For displaying event information on campus TV screens.

- **Material Review and Approval**: For approval of printed or digital materials for publication.

- **Media Assistance**: For items potentially interesting to TV stations or newspapers.

- **Promotional Items**: For requesting items for CSN events or outreach activities.

- **Other**: For any requests not covered by existing categories.

By implementing this system, CSN aims to improve efficiency in publicizing the accomplishments and activities within its community.
