Jack C. Davis Observatory at Western Nevada College is hosting its next star party on October 26. These events are held twice a month and are open to the public without charge. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about astronomy and use various telescopes to observe stars from the observatory's location above the college campus.

The observatory also serves as a hub for astronomical events, educational walks, and classes that provide insights into recent technological developments in the field of astronomy. The facility is situated at 2269 Vanpatten Ave., on the northern side of Carson City's campus.
